Oksana Berda is a contemporary abstract artist working and living in Toronto, CA. She holds a Master of Arts from the University of New Brunswick in Creative Writing, which informs the narrative quality of her work. 

This painting is part of the series titled 'Venus in Retrograde'. In this series Oksana explores mixing bolder colours as well as leaving less negative space and allowing the paintings to take as much of the surface as possible.
